Our jewelry at LOVEE is crafted from high-quality materials like sterling silver, brass, and stainless steel, with a thick layer of 18K gold plating on our gold pieces. The gold plating is between 1-2.5 microns for a gleaming finish.

Some of our jewelry designs feature freshwater pearls, which can add subtle variations in color and texture, adding to the unique beauty of each piece.

Jewelry care

To help you extend the life of your jewelry, we've compiled some helpful tips and tricks below.

#1 Protect it from lotions and perfumes

To keep your jewelry looking its best, avoid exposing it to lotions, perfumes, makeup, or harsh cleaning products. Wait a few minutes for these products to dry before putting on your jewelry, and be cautious with perfume, which can contain essential oils and alcohol that can damage your jewelry.

Make sure to allow the perfume to dry before putting on your jewelry, and take off your jewelry before reapplying any products throughout the day.

Tip #2 - Remove it before activities

To maintain your jewelry's shine and quality, it's essential to remove it before activities that can damage it, such as showering, swimming, exercising, or washing your hands. Chlorine in pool water, for example, can quickly dull or discolor your pieces, or even strip their protective coatings.

In addition, we recommend putting on your jewelry last when getting dressed. This helps prevent your items from catching on clothes and getting exposed to makeup, lotions, or perfumes, which can also damage their finish.

Tip #3 - Store your jewelry properly

Storing your jewelry properly is a crucial element of maintaining its beauty over time. Sterling Silver, for example, can naturally oxidize when exposed to oxygen, so we recommend storing it in an airtight baggie to help prevent this process.

When traveling, we suggest storing each piece in an individual bag or pouch to avoid scratches or contact with other items in your luggage.

Tip #4 - Let’s keep it clean

To help keep your pieces looking their best, we recommend following the care tips outlined above and regularly cleaning your jewelry. For gold-plated items, gently polish them with a microfibre cloth. For sterling silver, a silver polishing cloth or gentle silver cleaning solution is ideal. Regular cleaning with a clean microfibre or jewelry polishing cloth can also help remove tarnish and keep your pieces looking beautiful in the long term.
